Into the Hollow : The landscape of displacement

Into the Hollow is a portrait of the first exile, documenting the moment the soul mistakes the desolate wilderness of the Hollow for a home. this piece serves as a somber reflection on the immediate aftermath of the Fall—the moment the Garden is left behind and The Hollow becomes the new reality. In this context, The Hollow is defined as the spiritual landscape of exile; it is the vast, echoing space left behind when a soul is separated from its Divine source. It is not merely a place of darkness, but a state of being where the void is inhabited, explored, and eventually, dangerously romanticized.

The figures within this space represent the first union formed in the shadows of displacement. It captures the magnetism of shared brokenness, where two souls mistake the isolation of the "Hollow" for a sanctuary simply because it is the only home they know outside of Grace. This piece stands as a witness to the foundational site of spiritual exile—a state that must be fully acknowledged and traversed before the long journey back toward the light can truly begin.
