Dominion : What God Hath Joined

Dominion is a reclamation of the authority and responsibility shared between man and woman. It is a visual testimony to the "dominion of collaboration," illustrating that true power over life is found only when the union is anchored in Christ. By placing the Christ figure as the root and trunk of the Tree of Life, the work identifies Him as the singular source of resurrection and the fruit of the spirit.

The structural red cross acts as a spiritual nervous system, tethering the heavens to the earth and binding the couple horizontally. This suggests that the same power holding the universe together is required to hold a relationship together. The background text—etched like scar tissue—serves as a "sacred whisper" from The Creation of the Universe, turning the canvas into a living tissue of divine mandate. Here, the man and woman are not mere inhabitants of a garden, but elevated co-regents and archetypes. They stand as a sanctified counter-narrative to the spiritual voids of the world, documenting a state of "High Heaven" where the two are built to remain unsevered.
